On Friday, September 17, 2010, Lee County business leaders gathered to honor their peers who exemplify innovation and community involvement as they strive to grow in a challenging economy.   Almost 1,000 people, a record number, attended the Industry Appreciation Awards at Harborside Event Center in Fort Myers.

The annual awards program is organized by the Horizon Council, Lee County's public/private economic development partnership.
